The Melbourne Savage Club joins the CCP network

The Melbourne Savage Club was established in 1894, and is one of Australia’s oldest private members’ clubs.

Located in an historic 19th century mansion right in the heart of Melbourne, the Savage Club provides a unique ambience.  The Club was based upon an appreciation of music, art, drama, science and literature, where member performances showcase their artistic talent.

The Savage Club restaurant is a busy establishment.  Their Head Chef installed the CCP solution to keep a watchful eye over fridge temperatures 24/7.

Michael White, CCP’s CEO, said “We’re seeing an increasing

number of clubs adopt CCP as venues seek to refine their dinning operations. With CCP installed, opportunities emerge to increase reduce costs, optimise resources and streamline food safety compliance.”

The Club’s decision to install the CCP solution has immediately reduced their business risk. If refrigeration temperature tolerances are breached because of power or mechanical failure, an alert is sent by email and SMS. Web and mobile dashboards provide business intelligence and task management.

Implementing automated temperature monitoring takes the guesswork out of the process, and ensures records are kept for food safety compliance.
